Food Bank
The Loyalton food bank is made possible through the collaborating efforts of the High Sierras Family Resource Center, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and many wonderful volunteers.
Fresh vegetables, milk, yogurt, cereal, canned goods, peanut butter, frozen meat.....and much, much more.
Available for all individuals and families who live in Sierra County, or any communities within the Sierra Plumas Joint Unified School District. Pickup is at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Loyalton at 1:00 PM at the earliest*, on the
first and third Friday of every month.

*Pick up times vary widely depending on the arrival of the delivery truck, the size of the delivery, and the number of volunteers helping prep the food.
