The Deadline for nominations is April 26, 2024.You can email it to frc@highsierrasfrc.org or drop it by the office at 315 Main Street in Loyalton or mail it to the FRC at PO Box 74, Loyalton CA 96118. A winner will be selected by the FRC Board and announced in the newspapers' first May publication. Recognition details to be shared.
A Family Art Showcase! Win the raffle for a Family Portrait! We are looking for families to spend some time together creating artwork that celebrates old fashioned, tech-free family joy! It may represent a cherished memory or a future plan. Get out the paints, pens, crayons, and whatever inspires you to create a family masterpiece. The FRC will be ready to mat your artwork with 5x7, 8x10 or 11x14 glory for a gallery display for ALL to enjoy. Put your name on the back and bring your masterpieces to the FRC at 315 Main Street in Loyalton or to the Downieville School. Deadline for entries is April 26th. Each family will be entered into the raffle for a Family Portrait by a local photographer. Drawing will be held during the first week of May. This project is being supported by the Sierra County Arts Council.

Enjoy Community Partner Booths with give aways, activities and information, Mini Music Makers from Sierra Musica 11:00 to 12:00, Help us Plant a Community Pollinator Garden, Share a Community Lunch (Bring a canned vegetable for our Community Soup!) This event is sponsored by the Family Resource Center, First 5 Sierra, Musica Sierra, Sierra Nevada Children's Services & other community partners.
